In the fourth quarter of 2023, the geolocation gaming landscape in France saw various trends across the top applications, as reported by Sensor Tower. These games, which blend the digital and physical worlds, continue to engage users with their innovative gameplay.

Pokémon GO experienced a decrease in weekly revenue over the quarter, starting at approximately $177K and ending at around $82K. Downloads followed a similar downward trend, from about 26K to 22K. However, weekly active users remained significant, starting at 1.76M and seeing a slight decline to 1.18M by the end of the quarter.

The recently launched Monster Hunter Now showed an initial revenue of about $38K, which fluctuated and ended at nearly $12K. Its downloads decreased sharply from 22K to just over 1K, while weekly active users dropped from 57K to 30K.

Jurassic World Alive generated a modest revenue, starting the quarter at approximately $6K and peaking at around $9K before settling at about $7K. Downloads saw fluctuations with a peak of 1.8K, ending the quarter at roughly 1.7K. Its active user base remained relatively stable, starting at 19K and ending at around 20K.

Pikmin Bloom, another Niantic title, showed a revenue pattern starting at nearly $2K and ending at $1.7K. Downloads remained low throughout the quarter, beginning at 740 and ending at 262. Weekly active users stayed above 21K, ending the period at 22.7K.

Lastly, Ingress Prime, despite being an older title, maintained a consistent revenue stream, starting at $1.4K and ending at $1.2K. Downloads were minimal, beginning at 143 and descending to 23 by the quarter's end. Active users showed a slight decline from 610 to 505 over the period.
